I want to start by saying that I think Carl Froch is definitely a good fighter, but he’s not a great one. He has defeated some tough opposition, but he struggles when facing good boxing skills.
He fought Jermain Taylor and was losing on two out of the three score cards by the twelfth round, which means if Taylor could have managed to not tire out, like he had started doing at this point in his career, he would have easily won. All ...

Manny Pacquio and Juan Manuel Marquez has fought twice, and they have only one point in-between them with both fights added together, so why was Marquez a 9 to 1 underdog in their match tonight? I looked at the obvious reasons why he would be expected to be dominated this time, and the two main reasons are his age and the fact that he struggled at the weight this fight was fought at.

A couple of weeks ago Pharris posted Floyd vs. Manny, he asked who would win? Not for someone just to pick their favorite fighter, but really who would win? My computer has be out of commission, but i'm back and its time for me to weigh in, even if it is irrelevant at the moment. Everytime I turn around they are fighting and not fighting, i wish they would just be like Nike and just do it already. In any case, paying homage to the espn simulated superbowls, here is my ...

Manny Pacquio -VS- Joshua Clottey is this Saturday at the Cowboys stadium and it seems, from all the media, this fight should put up big numbers. With Jerry Jones, the Cowboys owner, and UFC’s President as well as their CEO, Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta, are collaborating on this fights promotion.

Read Full Post »I’m tired of the whole Floyd Mayweather is this, and he’s that stuff, but I feel as if I have to add my two cents. Many people are being ruled by their hate, so to speak, they have for Mayweather, which is why he will never be a good fighter in their eyes. They will continue to say that he is dodging someone, and that he’s scared, and he runs, and etc. But when your mind is clouded, it’s hard to see what you’re really looking at....

I sat back the other day and thought about all the great boxers we have still fighting, as well as the good upcoming fighters that will take over after the greats call it quits, and I’m not all that impressed. I don’t see a fighter capable of keeping the sport afloat like Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquio, and Bernard Hopkins were able to do, among others.

Alot of talk has been stewing in the pot lately about Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao being considered one of the greatest fighters, if not the greatest figher the world has ever seen. That is, if he effectively dismantles fellow pound for pound juggernaut "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we have all heard this type of praise and hype before, I mean just a couple of years ago floyd was that dude, but there w...

Miguel Cotto was demolished by Manny Pacquio, and the question most are asking is where does he go from here.
Miguel Cotto is a good fighter, you can look at his resume and see the people he’s defeated and easily come to that conclusion, but is he a great fighter?
What is a great fighter to you? Is it someone who defeats great fighters, no matter what condition they’re in (ol...

What has the sports world become? And where is it headed?
It is seemingly far removed from the glory days when the thing that really mattered was winning. When it took blood, sweat, and tears just to lace up the gloves, the cleats, and the nikes. The pride that they had exuded through every orifice of each being wearing their respective uniform or trunks. The tenacity off field, off court, and out of ring, t...

This has been a very sticky subject lately, especially since the last P4P king, Floyd Mayweather Jr, who didn’t lose his status but simply retired, is back on the scene. Now you have Manny Pacquio, the current P4P king, and Floyd, both feeling like they deserve the title, but who really does?
Manny Pacquio has always been classified as a good fighter, but has been labeled great ever since he’s rose from ...
