Pac -VS- Floyd, they're fighting via PPV buys

Manny Pacquio -VS- Joshua Clottey is this Saturday at the Cowboys stadium and it seems, from all the media, this fight should put up big numbers. With Jerry Jones, the Cowboys owner, and UFC’s President as well as their CEO, Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta, are collaborating on this fights promotion.

First though that came to my mind when I heard Dana White was involved was; He’s doing this to out do the Floyd Mayweather fight. Those two have exchanged words in the past, and I see no other reason why Dana White would help a Boxing venue, when the UFC is boxing’s biggest rival. A deal with, Pacquio’s promoter, Bob Arum and Jerry Jones, for a place to host a UFC bout and helped promotion, very well could be the drive behind UFC helping, but I’m going off what I see, and know.

It looks to me like they know it’s going to be hard to out do a fight with the likes of a Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather. I’m not saying that I believe that Pacquio’s less of a PPV attraction, I’m saying Clottey is. Clottey is a known name, but there’s going to be some non believers that he’ll put up a good enough fight to be worth the PPV money. Floyd -VS- Shane has both of their fan bases, as well as the thousands to millions of people that wants to see Floyd get beat.

I don’t think the numbers will be that close after May 1st, but with Pacquio’s added promoting with the addition of Jerry Jones, I wouldn’t be totally shocked. He’s going to have 70% of Texas watching.

I don't think Floyd and Mosley will have any problem putting on a better performance. Clottey stunk the place up.
